Does your daughter have moodswings?
She’s up, up, up!!!!
And then… she’s down, down, down…
Full on: doom and despair.
“Mom, today was the worst. I hate my life.”
Sound familiar? (Though maybe your teen is a little bit less intense ;)).
Moodswings are the #1 reason why moms can find parenting teens exhausting.
It can be a real energy drain.
But…
Only if you let it be. (Surprise!)
In this week’s episode of #WeThriveTV we’re talking about HOW to keep your cool, conserve your energy, and not take the rollercoaster mood ride with your daughter. Just because she’s exhausted by feeling all of her teen feelings, doesn’t mean you need to be too.

This is for real.
And it’s easier said than done.
Right, mama?
How do we let her feel her feelings, and not feel her feelings for her? We love her so darn much! That’s exactly the kind of HOW-TO we get into in this week’s episode of #WeThriveTV. It a nitty-gritty episode, with a whole lotta heart. Just for you, mama.
Once you’ve gotten a chance to check out the video, leave a comment below — because collective wisdom rocks, and we want to hear your take. We need each other, mama.
Love,

Excellent, thank you for addressing this issue. My 12 year old is so lovable and sweet one minute—and “monster child” the next. I tell myself, “This too shall pass”, give her space and always say, “I love you”.
Great mothering wisdom Darlene!
This is good message. I have a toddler but I’m watching your videos so that when she becomes a teenager I have some coaching. That said, my daughter is really testing me. So I decided to buy a bracelet that says breathe that should help me during those difficult times. I can’t wait to get it.
Read the Mothering side of our book! I write about similarities between the toddler and teen years! LOVE the idea of you getting a bracelet reminding you to breathe. Thanks so much for sharing the gold, Mirley! xo
