Eliza’s back on the blog!
And we’re talking how to make conversations easy breezy with your preteen or teen —
WOW, what a concept, huh?
A mom in our community wrote to me that she’s feeling “well… umm… awkward” with her newly teen daughter, and conversation just ain’t flowing.
Can you relate?
Do you dream of flowing easily in and out of heart-felt, clear communication with your daughter? Then this is the episode for you!
Eliza is the co-founder of Mothering & Daughtering with me, and the other half of our dynamic duo — she also happens to be the only expert I know on getting preteen and teen daughters to talk (she’s a wiz). You in?

What’s a conversation you’re going to start with your daughter this week?
— because collective wisdom rocks,
and we want to hear your take.
We need each other, mama.
Love,
Sil
P.S. Forward this video to a mama who is feeling the awkward teen conversation years. Because sharing is caring, and everyone could use a stronger bond.
Hi Eliza and Sil, thank you so much for this Thriver TV episode. It came at the perfect time. We are having some issues here. I’ll concentrate on attunement and presence to help un block some things and open some pathways. Great reminders about communication! Xoxo
Hi Carolyn! Thank you so much for letting us know that this episode came at the perfect time! I love that! And I love knowing you will concentrate on attunement and presence in the coming days. Very inspired. xo Sil
Thank you for the information on how to talk to my daughter. It has been an awkward journey, and I glad to know there is hope. I cant so relate to Denise.
You are so welcome! Thank you for sharing and being part of the Mothering & Daughtering tribe! xo
Such a great reminder that my daughter’s most powerful relational language is quality time and that’s the best way to enter intimate conversations with her. This week I want to have a deeper conversation about how she’s feeling about boys. She has her learner’s permit and LOVES to drive. We are having our best conversations while driving these days.
Thank you for this valuable information!
