In this workshop, Sil Reynolds and her 20-year-old daughter Eliza lead mothers and their 10 to 12-year-old daughters in a weekend of initiation, communication, and celebration. We take the time to nourish our relationship and learn how to respect and understand each other more completely. Through ritual, storytelling, art, and exercises in communication, we gain tools that build bridges and keep those bridges strong through the teen years.
Mothers have time with Sil to address issues of motherhood, mentoring, and letting go. Daughters have time with Eliza to express their feelings and share their vision. As a group, mothers and daughters learn new ways of being together in mutual respect and love. Together, we honor all women who came before us, and all those who will follow us.
Please bring photographs and symbols of daughters, mothers, grandmothers, surrogate mothers, and female mentors.

To mothers from Sil: Come with your teenage daughter to Omega for May Day weekend and have time to be part of a vibrant mother/daughter community.
We want to help you slow down, nourish your relationship and see your girl have some fun. We will create a soulful environment and cultivate trust and authentic expression.
The workshop will reinforce your already strong bond or help you to reconnect if it's been hard to find common ground lately. We offer creative and even fun ways for both of you to "meet in the middle" of disagreements and walk through these next few years with more ease and joy.
To daughters from Eliza: Hey teen ladies, what's up? I am really just another teenage girl except that I happen to teach workshops with my mom. Three reasons why you should come to our workshop: 1. You get to hang out with a crew of other cool girls from around the country. 2. No one at your school will ever know. 3. If you have a good relationship with your mom, your teenage years will be so much easier. So come on, and make your mom ecstatic and give her an early Mother's Day present. See you in May!
